"Interface" is a series of prints created by the great futurist Syd Mead for US Steel in the late 60s depicting a vision of transportation advancements and enabling technologies in the then-distant year of 1990. These are hard to find now, so when I got my hands on some excellent originals, I made these scans so others could see this amazing work. Although clearly we're about 30 years behind the curve on the technologies predicted here, Mead as usual paints a future that we've forgotten could be possible. |
