- Worked at a graphics workshop in activities ranging from data management to graphical layout and printing.

- Coordinated the art section of the Rice University literary magazine "University Blue" and acted as head layout and design artist for it.

- Served as Editor-in-Chief of La Canada High School newspaper, The Spartan.

- Junior at Rice University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with self-directed study in Studio Art.

- Hobbies include photography, creative art, industrial design, computer-based graphics and sound, and automotive enthusiasm.

- Played piano for eight years, have played trumpet and bass guitar, and have begun experimentation with electronic sampling and sequencing.

- DJ'ing on the only electronic music program in Houston, Friday nights on 91.7fm KTRU Rice Radio.

- During summer of 1996, backpacked around Europe with three others for 6 weeks, travelling through Greece, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, France, and Switzerland.
